Bayonetta has gone platinum in Japan, meaning the game will be repackaged and will be sold at a much lower price than before.
The games has earned its way to become a part of PlayStation 3’s The Best and Xbox 360’s Platinum Collections. These versions of the game go on sale in Japan on September 2, 2010 and will cost ¥3,990.
These versions will also come with special flip-over cover slips showing a new artwork of Bayonetta

Sega is also including a “Trailer Collection” showcasing some of Sega’s upcoming games including a trailer for Vanquish. The trailers will appear on the Bayonetta game disc for the PS3 while a separate disc is provided for the Xbox 360 version.
