Prepaid PlayStation Network cards have been available in New Zealand since early April this year. Sony has finally announced of their availability in New Zealand today.
Without using a credit card or debit card to pay for content on the PlayStation Store, NZ gamers can now easily purchase prepaid cards from participating retailers to add to their PSN wallet. There will be $30 and $50 cards available for you to buy. Although as aforementioned these cards have been available earlier in the year at some stores it’s now official that more retailers will be selling them as of today.
Sony Computer Entertainment Director of Sales and Marketing, David Hine had this to say:
“Prepaid Cards for PSN are another great way for users to add content to their PS3 and/or PSP. As PSN continues to grow and offer more content, we think it’s important to make accessing this great content as easy as possible’
The $30 and $50 PSN cards are now available at JB HIFI, Dick Smith, Noel Leeming, Bond & Bond, Harvey Norman, The Good Guys and Norman Ross all across New Zealand.
