Famitsu magazine has shed more details on the upcoming Yakuza title for the PSP. Today it revealed more of the multiplayer aspect included in the game.
The game will offer up to four-player ad-hoc fights. Not only this, but you will be prompted to create your own character to use during the multiplayer mode. You can change the character’s skin color, body tone, weight, height and more. As you play through the story mode you will unlock different fighting styles and other accessories to put on your fighter as well. You can even build up a team of fighters too.
There will be three modes of combat. There’s a tag match where you and a partner fight against two others. A Dogeza Battle is played with 2-4 players in a tornado style rules match with the loser needing to kneel down before the winner. Last but not least is the team battle. This is where you create a team of five and the first to win three matches wins the match.
Yakuza on PSP will be available later this year.
