Ape Escape is one of Sony’s franchises that has yet to debut on the PlayStation 3. Thankfully, the European Ape Escape twitter account, ApeClub has confirmed a Q2-Q4 2010 release window.
Officially announced at last year’s Tokyo Game Show, the latest Ape Escape entry will utilize the PlayStation Move. It was also mentioned that it “may be the best game so far for PS3 Move” by the PS Move staff. Sounds pretty exciting.
PlayStation Move is slated to release this Fall so it’s very likely that Ape Escape PS3 hits around that time. We might even see them both bundled together. Known for its humor and pop-culture references, Ape Escape also featured a unique control scheme so I’m definitely interested to see how the new game works with Move.
