Zipper Interactive, the developer of the SOCOM series has announced that SOCOM 4 is currently in development and is slated for release very soon.
Details on the game are sketchy at the moment as more about the game will be revealed later in the year. What we do know is that the game will be set in South Asia after a militant revolutionary has unexpectedly seized control. You and four others will be in charge of stopping the revolution before its too late.
As well as the campaign mode there will also be multiplayer. With up to 32 players players online at once plus more Special Forces units than ever before.
SOCOM 4 is slated for release in the Fall, exclusively on PlayStation 3.
