In a recent web presentation of Atlus’ 3D Dot Game Heroes, it has been revealed that the game will offer an optional HDD install. The data will roughly be around 1-2GB and should be greatly reduced the load times. Sure, load times are annoying but it takes away the fun in looking at some old school game parodies as it will show during load screens.
Check back with us early next month for some hands-on impression of the game. 3D Dot Game Heroes comes out May 2010. Get yourself ready to embark in a 2D.. eh 3D pixelated adventure sooon!

February 19, 2010 at 3:52 PMHDD install = good. Optional install is a nice touch but if I could, I’d install every game I pop into the PS3. I loathe long loading but I’m conflicted since 3D Dot Game Heroes has interesting loading screens.
