State of Decay 2 came out earlier this month on Xbox One and Windows 10 and the game should be seen as a success so far already. This is because Microsoft has announced the game already has over 1 million players.
The thing that makes this milestone pretty amazing is that the game amassed over 1 million players in the span of just 2 days of its worldwide release date.
Throughout its launch, over 6 million hours of gameplay has been experienced by players all around the world. Players of the game have managed to kill over 675 million zombies and the game has managed to amass a popular audience on YouTube, Twitch and other streaming services.
State of Decay 2 is out now for Windows 10 PC and Xbox One. One of the reasons why the game is so popular is thanks to it being a part of Xbox Game Pass as well as being sold for a fraction of the normal $59.99 price tag of most games.
