Candy Crush Developer Is Working On A Call of Duty Mobile Video Game

The Call of Duty franchise is mostly known to be a FPS franchise releasing every year for console and PC platforms. Well a new job listing suggests we might see a big mobile video game based on the Call of Duty franchise very soon.

Candy Crush developer, King, have posted a job listing on their website looking for a ‘Level Designer’ for a new Call of Duty game being released for mobile devices sometime in the near future. You can read some details of the job description posted down below.

“We’re looking for a talented Level Designer to join our exciting new project in Stockholm. In collaboration with Activision Blizzard, we are adapting one of the most iconic game franchises of all-time: Call of Duty.

The aim is to create a Call of Duty experience on mobile, while also breaking new ground for mobile and redefining the genre. The approach and ambition is to be fresh, social, and highly accessible, while providing a very authentic game experience.”

Many people are already speculating this could be a Battle Royale video game to compete with both PUBG and Fornite. PUBG and Fortnite are already making lots of money on mobile devices so it sounds like Activision wants a piece of the same pie.
