David Cage Reveals An Official Release Date For Detroit: Become Human

Quantic Dream’s David Cage has finally revealed the release date for his first ever PS4 exclusive video game called Detroit: Become Human. Much like his past games like Heavy Rain and Beyond: Two Souls, it will be another decision based game where your actions affect the entire story and its endings.

Anyway, the official release date for Detroit: Become Human is now May 25th, 2018 as revealed by Cage via the official PlayStation Blog. This means the game comes out roughly one month after God of War PS4 releases on April 20th, 2018. Sony has been very good at spreading out its many first party exclusives throughout the entire calendar year. We already received the Shadow of the Colossus remake back in February.

Cage’s new game is pretty up to date since it focuses on three different androids and there are many powerful themes that it will explore. It’s pretty much similar to the themes in the Blade Runner movies as it explores what it means to be alive and if artificial beings truly have feelings and emotions like us human beings have.

Aside from having lots of different storylines play out, Cage says this is the “most spectacular 3D engine” his studio has ever created. The team really put the PS4 to its limit. Not to mention the new game will also make use of the more powerful PS4 Pro console too. As aformentioned, the game is coming out this May exclusively for PS4 and PS4 Pro.
