Angry Joe Reveals A Street Fighter Board Game

YouTube reviewer Angry Joe has revealed a cool looking new board game that fans of Capcom’s Street Fighter series will like a lot. The board game in question is called “Street Fighter: The Miniatures Game” and a Kickstarter campaign for it will start in April.

The coolest thing about Street Fighter: The Miniatures Game is that fact that it includes miniature Street Fighter toys like Amiibos. Ryu is powering up a Hadouken while Chun-Li is kicking with her leg. Angry Joe said in his reveal video that he has been working on this for over two years and did a lot of research on the Street Fighter franchise in order to make this happen.

Aside from Ryu and Chun-Li, other characters from Street Fighter 2 are also included and some of them are even bigger than Nintendo’s Amiibos. Six characters are included at the start and there is even a boss expansion for you to add even more characters to the board game.

The game doesn’t just have toys because cards are also included with rules created by Angry Joe himself. It’s like a tangible version of Street Fighter that trading card game fans will probably love. You can also just buy the game if you want the cool looking toys too.

The Kickstarter for this Street Fighter game will start on April 4th, 2018. The only reason he’s doing it via Kickstarter is because it was going to be more expensive for him to distribute at retail stores. He’s hoping to sell at least 10,000 units of it if everything becomes successful. You can learn more about the game in the video posted below.
