Mobile spin-off games can be really good. Fallout Shelter is a great example and Final Fantasy XV has one out too. Will one be released for Mass Effect Andromeda?
Finder.com.au had a chance to speak with Fabrice Condominas who is the producer of Mass Effect Andromeda. The website asked him about the possibility of a mobile spin-off video game getting developed.
He said: “We’re definitely open to that thought, but as a studio, we’re not very good at those sort of games. So the door is open and we are discussing with people to extend that [thought]. But it wasn’t our focus or priority as we wanted to finish the main game first.”
From the sounds of things. BioWare is not making the spin-off mobile game but they are in discussion with other people to make it happen. It doesn’t look like things have gone off the ground just yet, but BioWare is interested in the possibility of a mobile spin-off game getting released eventually.
