As with many demos and betas, gamers who are a little more technologically savvy tend to look into the innards of the games themselves for some hints of what we can expect in the full game. With the Titanfall beta going on right now, someone of course had to look to see if there was more than meets the eye. As a result, we now have what appears to be the maps and game modes, as well as some other perks and ordnances that will be in the game.
A user on the gaming messageboard NeoGAF named RazorUK used a hex editor to look into the beta, where he found the following information.
As we know, Angel City and Fracture are the two maps found in the beta, so it would be pretty simple to guess that the rest could be stages as well, which would put the total at 15. Training Ground is likely just as its name implies so we may only have 14 regular maps, but we’ll have to wait and see. To make these seem even more likely, he included splash images that he found in the data as well.
He also found the following game modes from within the beta, which seems to show a good bit of variety.
Capture The Titan
Capture The Flag
Last Titan Standing
I am personally most excited to try out Capture The Titan when the full game releases on March 11 for Xbox One and PC, with a release two weeks after for Xbox 360. A full rundown of the finds from the data can be found right here.
