DayZ has managed to sell over 1 million copies in just four weeks since its early access release.
DayZ‘s creator Dean Hall told Polygon it is a “shot fired moment” over the traditional method of publishing video games. Obviously Dean Hall was blown away by the game’s success in just a short amount of time.
