Following the successful release of Telltale’s The Walking Dead game series, it seems that the next game they’re currently working on is based on Game of Thrones, according to IGN’s multiple sources.
It’s currently unknown whether the Game of Thrones game Telltale is currently working on is based from the HBO show or from the novel, A Song of Ice and Fire. As we all know, Telltale has a long history of licensed properties, ranging from Jurassic Park to Back to the Future and, more recently The Walking Dead and Fables. If Telltale indeed got the rights for Game of Thrones, I wouldn’t be surprised. Make it happen Telltale!
When IGN asked Telltale for the validity of the report, senior VP of publishing Steve Allison said:
“We get these sorts of rumors about what we could be working on next cropping up all the time. Officially we have no comment.”
