TuneIn radio service app out now for PlayStation 3

PlayStation

According to the official PlayStation blog, the world’s most popular streaming live radio service has arrived on the PlayStation 3 today, with a release following next week for the PlayStation Vita. TuneIn radio provides more than 70,000 AM, FM, and internet radio stations streaming from within their app.

TuneIn says that the app designed for Sony’s systems is the most visually stunning app they have done for their streaming radio service to date. The blog itself boasts a few specific features that it felt would appeal to a large section of PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita owners.

-World’s Radio: With over 70,000 stations and 2 million podcasts from around the world, TuneIn is a leading service for listening to music, sports, and news.
-Live Music: Live Music on TuneIn lets listeners discover and enjoy unplugged, acoustic, and even local performances from their favorite artists.
-Sports: TuneIn offers listeners the ability to catch a wide variety of live sports, including college football, cricket, lacrosse, and baseball.
-Talk: Listen to the world’s best comedians and personalities on TuneIn, like NPR’s “Fresh Air,” “This American Life,” or the Adam Carolla Show.

You can download the TuneIn radio app today for the PlayStation 3 and look for the app to be coming to the Vita next week.
