The gorgeous indie game Shelter, which sees you playing as a mother badger protecting her cubs, is set to release next Wednesday, August 28.
Shelter will require you to find food for your cubs, overcome natural obstacles and evade predators, all in a gorgeously realised naturalistic setting. The early gameplay footage shows such things as badger cubs being stolen away by birds of prey, so this title will likely be somewhat heart-wrenching; unless of course you’re some kind of monster who can’t find it in you to love the little baby badgers. The game is available to pre-order now either on Steam or on the Official Site, with the latter providing you with both a DRM free version and a Steam key, for the price of $9.99/£6.99/€8.99.
