Game designer for Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 David Vonderhaar tweeted that Nuketown 2025 will be back in “normal rotation”.
He did not give any indication of when it will be back in normal rotation, but he did confirm that it will eventually be back.
Some people disliked the fact that the Nuketown 2025 level was offered as a pre-order bonus but was not playable in Black Ops 2’s multiplayer mode forever. It was only featured sporadically during “double XP weekends” and other events.
The Nuketown 2025 level has always been popular with Call of Duty gamers so it’s good to know it will be back in full rotation very soon.
