EA has officially announced that FIFA 13 has already sold 7.4 million copies since it was out last month.
This milestone was reached in only 4 weeks making FIFA 13 have the biggest sports game launch in history. 4.5 million of those copies was reached in its first five days on sale which shows the franchise’s huge popularity.
The Wii U version of FIFA 13 is out next month too. This could further add to the tally.
FIFA 13 is so far the best selling video game in 2013. It is likely to drop to third place with Halo 4 and Call of Duty: Black Ops II releasing next month. Still, this is a huge achievement considering FIFA is an annually released series.
