ARMA III Developers Arrested for “Spying”

Bizarre reports coming out of Greece today which state that two Czech citizens have been arrested for “spying”. The two individuals in question claim to be employees of Bohemia Interactive and that they were collecting reference material for ARMA III which is set on a Greek Island.

Both persons are now in custody after being caught with photos and videos of a military installation on the Greek island of Lemnos. The Greek authorities have since charged the pair with espionage. Bohemia Interactive boss Marek Spanel confirmed that the story is true, adding that he preferred that the topic not be discussed on the studio’s forums “at least until we know more specific details about the case…”
