According to Gearbox, the development process of Boderlands 2 has finally been completed, and the next project that they’re working on is a new content for the game that will come out a few months after the game’s official release.
Now that the development phase of the game is done, it will finally go through certification, making sure the final product will be smooth. In regards to the new content that Gearbox is currently working on, a new class called Mechomancer will be among of the items that will release as a free DLC, assuming you are a member of the Borderlands 2 Premier Club. If you’re not, you can become a member by pre-ordering the game from a participating retailer.
Borderlands 2 is currently scheduled for release this September 18th on the PlayStation 3, PC, and XBox 360.
