With Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 coming this November, many assumed that Activision will be hosting another, big Call of Duty XP event, similar to last year’s preparation of Modern Warfare 3’s release.
Those who are hoping for an XP event this year will be disappointed as Activision confirmed to us earlier this week at E3 that there will be no such event happening this year. Instead, the team will focus on Gamescom event this coming August. While the XP event is not happening this year, Activision doesn’t rule out the possibility of hosting one again in the future.
Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 is scheduled for release this November on the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC.
