New Bond Game Coming In Autumn

Activision has announced that they will be releasing 007 Legends in the Fall for the Xbox 360 and Playstation 3 and it “ties together six popular, yet very different, Bond movies.” That is definitely a risky maneuver for them to take with the Bond series. David Oxford from Activision released a statement that said:

“To honour 50 years of the world’s top secret agent, 007 Legends offers a collection of his most famed moments in the smartest and most treacherous Bond game yet. Creating a video game storyline that ties together six popular, yet very different, Bond movie narratives can be challenging, but together with EON Productions, our developer Eurocom, has pulled it off to create an homage that we think will be a unique and highly entertaining Bond video game.

Activision also released a few details for the game and said that it would include online multiplayer, 4 player co-op, a wide variety of weapons and gadgets, exotic locations and a wide variety of cars and hot Bond girls. This will definitely be an interesting game if they really can pull it all off. I guess we will have to wait until the Fall to see.
