Unit 13: Viper HVT Guide

Unit 13: Viper HVT Guide

Unlike the previous HVT’s, Viper is a joke if you rush him. There are so many corners, that most enemies will just run into gun fire. This guide will show you where to hide, so it will be moderately risk free. However, don’t forget to improvise if you’re having issues with a part.

Like earlier missions, I advise using whomever is recommended. You can find the weapons I used above.

From the start, run forward till you see two archways. There is one enemy on the bottom right (pictured) and one on the top left. I suggest killing the bottom guy first, since he might advance on you otherwise. Move to the other side and pick off the other enemy.

Killing those enemies will alert three more enemies. One will come from the right and two from the left. Kill the right first, then just pick off the left ones. However, it makes no real difference how you kill them, just make sure you kill them.

Before heading into the next room, make sure to kill this guy. He has another person next to him, but if you just blindly fire, he will usually rush you. If you want a better score, you can usually rush him with ease too.

After killing them, there will be two things of C4. This is the first one, which is found right where they’re standing.

There are two ways to progress past this part. You can either walk through the middle, or you can disarm the C4. Whatever route you choose, just make sure you don’t die.

After the C4 you will see this single guy standing around. Unlike most enemies, simply killing him has no negative side effects.

Head to the left, but hug the wall. I strongly suggest shooting the guy in the far back, since he is a sniper. Be warned, once you alert them, they will rush you. Make sure you’re able to handle that situation before progressing. If you’re worried, simply toss down a charge and blow them up.

To the right of the image above, there is a guy who might come after you. I suggest just killing him before progressing.

After everyone is dead, make sure to avoid the C4. This can easily result in a failure if you don’t notice it.

Shoot this guy, then progress into the next room.

There will be one guy on the lowest level, which can easily cause you a problem. I suggest killing him, though it’s completely up to you.

Kill any enemies that you encounter. Unlike other area’s, these enemies are pretty easy to dispatch. However, I suggest taking the first path / right path. This is because there are a ton of explosions and you might forget about on the way out.

On the top level, simply kill everyone or at least the target. Once hes dead, you can run down to the exit with ease.
