Earlier today, it was announced that the Twisted Metal Demo would be hitting the Playstation Store on January 31. David Jaffe has come forth with some new details regarding what players can expect when the demo releases. Jaffe stated via Twitter that he only wants the demo to be up for a limited amount of time.
“I pushed to only make demo available [for a] limited window. Don’t think it will stay up till launch BUT I’m not 100% sure.” Jaffe went on to state that he is a “big fan of giving big enough tastes for consumer to make a smart, educated decision about purchase they feel good about. But too much content runs risk of hurting sales as people think they’ve already ‘gotten the taste’.”
Here are a few more details of what will and will not be included in the demo:
The demo won’t support splitscreen, but the final game will.
Training Mode is included.
Possible to play Vs. Bots
Team Deathmatch with Kill Mode
Nuke Mode
