Namco Takes Back “Offensive” Ad For Soul Calibur V

A few days ago Namco released a promotional poster for Soul Calibur V showing the cleavage of one of the game’s playable characters. The picture can only be described as edgy and bordering on NSFW. The ad garnered plenty of attention and took some heat so Namco decided they would try the trick again and see what they got from it. The results? Not so great. The ad was seen as controversial and was so offensive to some people that they complained and had it removed from Facebook where it was posted.

You can check out both of the ads below. The first one seems a tad bit worse to me but I guess others didn’t think the same. Feel free to leave your comments below as to what your thoughts are on the two ads. Soul Calibur v releases on January 31 for the Xbox 360 and Playstation 3.
