The closer we get to Mario Kart 7’s release date in December, the more it seems Nintendo is willing to tell us about the game. Nintendo Power recently confirmed the addition of two new characters never before seen in a Mario Kart game.
You may recognize the newly named “Honey Queen” as Queen Bee from 2007’s Super Mario Galaxy, in which she was so big, Mario could actually crawl around on her body. Naturally, she has been given a considerable reduction in size in order to fit into the cart racer.
The second character you may recognize from his debut in Super Mario World back in ’91. Wiggler has been seen as a boss, a regular enemy, even a playable character in some of the spin-off Mario sports titles. Nintendo has also announced that there are many more characters to be revealed between now and December, any thoughts on who these characters may be?
