Previously, Rockstar caught us off guard by announcing that they weren’t done supporting Red Dead Redemption and that they had some special DLC planned. We now know what’s in store for Red Dead Redemption in the upcoming free DLC…well some of it at least.
The free fan service DLC is called Myths and Mavericks Bonus Pack. It will include highly-demanded multiplayer characters and new multiplayer locations for popular game modes such as Deathmatch, Grab the Bag, and Gang.
The new characters are still shrouded in mystery for the most part, but we do know that Landon Ricketts is among the newcomers.
That’s not all however. A little extra will be released shortly before the DLC’s release. Here’s what Rockstar had to say:
Oh, also, yes – for those who are asking about a return to the original Undead Overrun multiplayer mode settings – we are planning to release a title update in the lead up to the new free DLC pack which will address that.
For those of you that still have your Red Dead Redemption copies, you can download this DLC this September on the Playstation Network and Xbox Live.
