It seems the Wild West isn’t dead after all. Recently, Rockstar tweeted that more Red Dead Redemption DLC would be making its way out sometime in the future and now we have a little more information.
Using their Twitter account once again, Rockstar stated that players would be taking on the role of “fan-favorite playable characters” in the upcoming DLC.
Nothing else is known about the DLC, but after the Undead Nightmare add-on I’m sure this new content will be nothing short of superb.
Since the statement suggests that there is more than one playable character, this may all just be a slew of new characters being added in to the online multiplayer portion of the game. Let’s allow ourselves to dream big and hope that it is an extensive addition like the Lost and the Damned and The Ballad of Gay Tony for GTA V. Personally, I’d like to play out Marshal Johnson’s story either before or alongside John Marston’s epic journey. Mixing it up and playing as someone like Dutch would put an interesting spin on the game as you played the bad guy (not like you couldn’t randomly kill innocents as John but anyways…) in the story getting a fresh perspective on all of the events.
