Are The Graphics In WWE ’12 Disappointing?

Now that screenshots and the first gameplay video of WWE ’12 has been revealed, are you satisfied with how the game looks?

There was a lot of hype surrounding the next WWE game over the last couple of weeks. Rumors were flying about the name change and the fact the game would have an improved gameplay engine. This all led to speculation that WWE ’12 could very well be the game most fans have been looking forward to for a very long time.

There are two games that most wrestling fans really adore – they are the N64’s No Mercy game and 2003’s release of Here Comes The Pain for the PlayStation 2. Since then the Smackdown vs. Raw franchise made its debut and the gameplay has been similar ever since.

There’s no denying that WWE ’12 could have the gameplay many fans have been hoping for. After looking at the screenshots and gameplay video, you cannot help but be a little disappointed about WWE ’12’s graphics.

I have to admit, it’s way too early to criticise WWE ’12’s visuals when the final game isn’t out till late November. I’ve been playing every wrestling game since 1998 and I was hoping WWE ’12 would have visuals similar to that of Fight Night Champion by now. The games have looked similar for the past 3 or 4 years now….

What’s your opinion on WWE ’12’s visuals so far? Disappointing or still too early to judge?
