Notch has just announced that the Minecraft Beta 1.4 will be releasing slightly later this week than expected.
According to Notch the Stats and Achievements have been harder to implement than they had expected, requiring “more work”. Notch went on to explain the stats will be things like “item usage and crafting info per item and block” although his favourite stat so far is “Meters flown”.
