Before you rush out to remove your pre-order, read on to see what else was said about the game. PSM3 got to play Homefront in its entirety and, even though the campaign clocked in at 5 hours, they had numerous positive remarks. Actually, even the campaign’s length wasn’t knocked on as much as most would think. Here’s what they had to say:
That short, short length of the main story may seem like a major sticking point, but it isn’t as significant as you might fear. Homefront is relentlessly brutal and constantly puts you in new, unusual and memorable scenarios, varying the pace to keep things interesting.
They even went on to talk about the multiplayer. They were very impressed with the guns as they found a way to make each one carry a distinctive feel. Diving in further, they mentioned the battle points system and how their incorporation made matches “rarely feel one sided”.
At the end they awarded Homefront an 83%. This is yet another good score the game can hold proudly as OPM gave it a 9/10 last week. This should relax those that have their money down and sway anyone on the fence over this upcoming title.
