In a move that is not surprising at all THQ announced that Homefront will have Online Pass. THQ launched Online Pass last year with UFC Undisputed 2010 and it’s their way of battling the used game market. But unlike other titles with Online Pass, there’s a twist in this story.
For those who buy the game used or rent it they will have to pay $10 but if they want to test the waters they now can. Users who don’t have Online Pass can play the multiplayer but the level is capped of 5 out of the full 75.
Homefront is due out this March.
