With BBC iPlayer already being on UK PlayStation 3 Consoles, it seems ITV are in talks to get their Player onto the PS3 as well. ITV was looking into putting its Player onto multiple consoles but so far it seems on the PlayStation 3 fits its needs.
Xbox 360 currently allows very little free content onto its market place and the Wii only accepts content without advertisement; leaving the only other console the PS3 to support the player as it has a more relaxed approach to content for their users.
Maybe this week at E3 we shall find out whether or not Sony and ITV could come to an agreement.
