THE CAVERNS

Before jumping to the first block of the Caverns, open the green chest.

You will hear the voice of Daedelus looking for the Ice Storm. After the scene, you have to fight a Cyclops and his minion.

Two of the Cyclops grunts will appear. Watch out for its spikes. Take one out first and keep rolling. After the first wave, another Cyclops will appear. Attack the Cyclops and you can use him to attack the next Cyclops Grunt that will spawn. Use the Army of Spartan magic if necessary.

Before proceeding, open the two treasure chests. It should contain a Phoenix Feather.

Glide through the other side and use the Save Point.

With Helios’ Head, reveal the hidden path in front of you. You will find yourself in a room where you have to drop down.

You will see a lever here. Before pulling it, get the Treasure Chest to your right. You will receive a lot of Red Orbs. After pulling the lever, the water will raise, allowing you to swim through the platform across from where you came from.

Climb on top and pull the lever at the end of the passageway.

Three Scorpions will approach you. Kill them and and then proceed. In this next area, it will be dark. I suggest using your Helios’ Head to navigate your way through. Turn left and you will see a blue chest.

Open the blue chest. Use Helios’ Head to see what’s ahead and climb. On top, you will fight two Medusa’s Head and a Harpy. Kill the Harpy first and then the Medusa’s Head.

To your right, use Helios’ Head to see the next platform. Instead of going through the exit, go straight to your right and you will see two red chests and a treasure chest that contains a Minotaur’s Horn.

You will find yourself in a passageway where a lot of little scorpions will be attacking you. The best way to deal with them is by grabbing them as it will give you green orbs. Jump to the other side of the platform and pull the lever to reach the next area of the Caverns.

You will be back where the Cubes were. Replenish your magic/health meter with the chests here. When ready, proceed to your left and go to the cube.

While on the cube, bunch of scorpions will surround you. Use the Army of Spartan to take them out.

BOSS: BIG SCORPION

After killing the little scorpions, it’s time to face the big Scorpion.

Taking out the Big Scorpion can be quite challenging. The goal of this fight is to attack its frozen icy legs with Nemean Cestus. It sounds easy but with little scorpions running around and its big tail that deals massive damage when hit, you have to plan your attacks.

The little scorpions that you see running around can be used as your life saver since they can give out green orbs when killed by not using your weapon. Don’t stay in one place as there’s a tendency that you will be trapped and get hit with its tail. After taking out all three legs in one side, the Big Scorpion will drop dead. Take this opportunity to attack its head and do some QTE. As soon as it gets up, it will crawl around the cube and a bunch of little scorpions will spawn from its side. Take this time to replenish your health. Do the same thing you did on one side of its legs and it should drop dead pretty soon.

You now have to do the final kill for this boss. Kratos will glide through the air and you will do a little bit of flying and QTE. Once done perfectly, the big scorpion will turn frozen. Deliver your finishing move!

Check the remains of the Big Scorpion to find the Boreas Ice Storm.

With the power of the Boreas Ice Storm, you can now use it as a key to open up the way to the Labyrinth and open up paths with the “Y” red sign. Using the Boreas Ice Storm will reveal a new path to go to.

Before opening up the second path with the Boreas Ice Storm, get the treasure chest that contains red orb by going on top to the platform and turn left.

Grapple your way through the next cube and use the Boreas Ice Storm to make the cube that you’re on move.

As the cube is moving, Minotaur, Shielded Sentries, and Medusa’s Head will spawn. The easiest way to kill these monsters quickly is by killing Medusa’s Head first and allowing her turn everyone into stone. After the fight, continue grappling to the next area.

Use the Save Point if you must and continue to the next area. You will be back to the spot where you have to pull the lever to release the water, so that you can swim through. With Boreas Ice Storm in your possession, you now unlock a new path.

You will meet Daedelus. Watch the scene.

After the scene, head immediately to your right to find two red chests and a big treasure chest. It will contain a Gorgon Eye.

Now use the zip line to go to the next area.

Use the Boreas Ice Storm to finally open up the way to the Labyrinth.
