The Nintendo Wii has been receiving a lot of decent Japanese role-playing games this year, with Xenoblade, Tales of Graces, The Last Story, and the upcoming North American version of Arc Rise Fantasia all making their debuts. Arc Rise Fantasia, scheduled for release next month on the Nintendo Wii, was one of the games that Ignition Entertainment had on display at this year's E3. The game received a decent score from Famitsu Magazine when it was released in Japan, and in just a couple of weeks we will get our chance to play this highly anticipated RPG.

Sega has a lot of Sonic titles that they have recently released, but none of them is as good as the original Sonic series for the Sega Genesis platform. After almost two decades, the real sequel to Sonic 3 is here on the next generation consoles: the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and Wii. At this year's E3, the first episode of Sonic 4 was playable at the Sega booth, and I was lucky enough to have the opportunity to give it a try.

One of the games that XSEED showcased this year on the show floor is Ivy the Kiwi, an upcoming action adventure game on the Wii and DS. During the event, I took my time and sat down with XSEED's Public Relations Manager, Jimmy Soga, to learn more about what Ivy the Kiwi has to offer.

Despite the throngs of videogame media and industry figures lined up to try out Skyward Sword on the Wii, I was patient enough to stand in line for hours and eventually got a chance to play Skyward Sword.

The Sakura Wars franchise is not well known to many people outside Japan. Having both a successful line of games, an anime series, and movie, Sakura Wars is one of Sega’s most popular and profitable series in Japan. Sakura Wars: So Long My Love first released back in 2005 on PS2, five years later it’s seeing a western release on Ps2 and Wii.

Based on the popular novel series of Hiroshi MORI and the recently released animated film by Sony Pictures comes a great tale of war. Fragile: Farewell Ruins of the Moon is a new action RPG for the Nintendo Wii. There are still a few months to go before the English language version is released here in the states, but I had a chance to play a bit of the Japanese version. So far I have to say that I’m pretty impressed, this is an action RPG that so far seems to hold it’s own against the bigger titles out there.
