Some people will know Colin Kaepernick as the player that protested police brutality by kneeling during the American anthem. Well for some reason, the guy’s name has been censored in a song that features in Madden NFL 19.
As pointed out by Bleacher Report, YG has a song called “Big Bank” and the original lyrics say “You boys all cap, I’m more Colin Kaepernick“.
However when the song is played in Madden NFL 19, the name Colin Kaepernick has been censored. This is very surprising and interesting since his name is not a swear word and he’s not done any heinous crimes.
Many people believe the NFL itself has something to do with this as there has been a lot of debate about disrespecting the national anthem due to kneeling instead of standing. In either case, one has to believe NFL is taken the matter too seriously if a name like Colin Kaepernick isn’t allowed to feature in a song.
