Earlier today we learned that Watch Dogs was delayed from it’s mid-November release on both current gen- and next-gen consoles until sometime in early 2014. This of course made many who preordered the PlayStation 4 Watch Dogs bundle wonder what that means for their preorders with the demand for the PlayStation 4 so high. Amazon has now updated their product page with an answer, at least for them.
All orders for the Watch Dogs PlayStation 4 bundle will keep their place in line and we will fulfill the PlayStation 4 (without the Watch Dogs game) in accordance with your current delivery estimate. We are working on adjusting these orders and will update you as soon as we know more.
This gives a little be of reassurance to ones who have preordered it, but we have no idea if this means that it will give you the console and then the game upon its release, or give you the option to pick a replacement game if you wish. Now we just have to wait to see what other retailers that offered this bundle will do with the delay of Watch Dogs.
