Skyrim Fact: Chilling Consequences When Killing NPCs

An all-new fact about Skyrim has been posted that might change the way you will play the game.

Here’s what was posted:

“AWESOME SKYRIM FACT #3: If you kill somebody, a family member might wish to take revenge.”

This sounds like something out of a horror movie if you ask me. If you’re the type of player that kills NPCs, you better watch out for the oncoming consequences!

Just like in real life, people don’t like those who kill their loved ones ruthlessly. The more facts that are revealed about Skyrim, the more intrigued I am about the game.

The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim is released on 11/11/11 for the PC, PS3 and Xbox 360.

  1. Dakan, you’re obviously stupid. So I’ll explain. They don’t just “POP IN” and you kill another NPC. They’ll find you while you sleep, find you when your not looking, and try to take your ass out. It’s not just simply “YOU KILLED MY BROTHER AAAAAAAAAAHHHHH!”

To all the non-stupid people, this sounds awesome as fuck :)

  2. @ Cameron: that is in real life. but this is a game and I think what Dakan said is more likely. But of course they wont just pop in. Maybe after a while you kill someone, you will encounter his family or something like that.

  3. The way I had it played out is that it might happen a little more realistically. I figured you’d be visiting a main town or something when they would come up to you with a knife or whatever to fight. Like Dakan said, it will probably be something where they walk up and initiate a dialogue sequence and say “I will avenge my ____!!”

What I’d really like to see is them make it so you can’t persuade their family member to like you again.

  4. I will name my charter VAGINABALLS!!!!RUN VAG BALLS RUN HE GONNA TRY & KILL CAUSE YOU KILLED HIS COUSIN POOKIE

  5. I hope they make the algorithm for the irate NPC family/friend realistic. If I kill someone in the forest and no one is around to see it happen how would they know I killed the NPC in the first place?

  6. Of course some of the NPC’s will spawn and yell something like “Stop right there family murderer scum!” But according to Bethesda; If you kill someone in a store, his / hers family will start working in that store. But I do agree with mr bimz… it sounds like something Peter Molyneux would say.
