Deep Silver and Piranha Bytes officially revealed today their new game, Risen 2: Dark Waters, the successor of the Risen, that was released on the Xbox 360 and PC.
Risen 2: Dark Waters will feature an expanded settings, a fresh new story, and new characters. The game will take place several years after the conclusion of the first game. Raging titans have devastated the world and pushed the humanity into the brink of existence. Monstrous creatures have risen and it’s up for the hero, now a member of the Inquisition, to find out how to stop the chaos caused by these creatures.
According to Deep Silver, Risen 2 aims to combine the most loved classic RPG gameplay mechanics of the original Risen with a fresh theme and settings of island locales. Fans can expect Risen 2 to be released on consoles and PC to be later this year.
