Even though May is a rather slow month, one where RAGE 2 is probably the most noteworthy, there are still some solid entries. This all stars with Death end Re;Quest on PC and ends with Saint’s Row: the Third on Switch.
If you haven’t played Death end Re;Quest, it’s a different take on visual novels and the whole getting stuck in a video game concept. It isn’t afraid to hide endings or kill characters, though it still suffers from bland gameplay like a lot of those games. On Tuesday we have Puyo Puyo Champions, a competitive take on the beloved puzzle game.
Thursday we get the highly anticipated third Life is Strange 2 chapter. Where the first chapter introduced a new story and the second added enough to make the cliffhanger interesting, it will be the breaking point for the latest title. Will it add enough to make their journey worth seeing through or did it get lost in a sea of underwhelming ideas. Finally, Saint’s Row comes to the Switch with the latest beloved series gaining the ability to play on the go.
