Now that we’re in the summer months, game releases tend to be a bit slower. This isn’t too much of a problem, given those in the United States have Independence day, which is also the release of the highly anticipated third season of Stranger Things, though there are a couple titles that might be worth checking out instead.
First and foremost, Final Fantasy XIV: Shadowbringers gives players a wide variety of things to do. At E3 we were able to challenge the new boss, Titania, and she proved to be a good DPS check. Joining it is the Switch version of What Remains of Edith Finch, a very high rated indie game, along with the ever popular visual novel, Clannad.
If the allure of Stranger Things is too great, but you still want to game, you can also do that on July 4. Finally, Attack on Titan is getting the extremely exciting Attack on Titan 2: Final Battle. Adding some of the most exciting fights from a later part in the story, it looks to be a solid addition.
