Despite the abysmal reception of Sony’s first State of Play last month, they are ready to push their second one on May 9 at 3PM P.T / 6PM E.T.
According to the latest blog post on the PlayStation Blog, the PlayStation Worldwide Studios will be showing off an extended look at MediEvil, as well as a first look at a new title. In addition, Sony will also have other updates and announcements from upcoming PS4 games.
PS4 owners looking forward to hear more news about Sony’s next-generation console shouldn’t expect it in this upcoming State of Play. Maybe we will hear more about the PlayStation 5 late next year.
With PS4 games weaning down, Sony has very few first-party exclusive games up on their sleeves. Now that Days Gone has been released, Sony has a few more left to release such as The Last of Us 2, MediEvil remake, and Ghost of Tsushima. While Sony hasn’t released any details on when it will release, there’s a chance that it might crossover to its next gen console, which will most likely be revealed late next year.
You can watch the State of Play live on Twitch, YouTube, Twitter, and Facebook.
Check back with us on May 9 for the reveal of the games that they will announce. Let’s all hope that this upcoming State of Play will be a lot better than its first. Stay tuned.
