Romancing SaGa 3 remaster delayed indefinitely in Japan

In Square Enix’s first official broadcast for its Romanacing SaGa Re:Universe, the company announced that the remastered version of Romancing SaGa 3, which was previously planned for release in early 2019, has been delayed indefinitely.

SaGa series producer Masanori Ichikawa said, “We are still in the state of improving the development quality, so I would like to have a little more time.”

In addition, Square Enix debuted the latest gameplay footage of the remastered version during the broadcast, where Ichikawa said, “We’re quite done, but I would like to increase the quality even further.”

In a recent tweet of Saga series creator Akitoshi Kawazu, he said, “Romancing SaGa 3 fans, I ask for your further patience. The development team is doing their best, so please wait a little longer.”

While it’s indeed a sad news for fans of the Romancing Saga, please note that there’s currently past Romancing Saga available on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and Switch.
