PlayStation Vita: The Best Deals in North America

Today is the much anticipated launch of the PlayStation Vita. With the hefty price tag that it carries, I’m sure that everyone of you are looking for ways to save and if possible, find the best deals out there.

Just for the US debut of the PlayStation Vita, there are several stores both online and retail that will give you an opportunity to save some money. If you have a budget of $500 to spend for the PlayStation Vita, you can get a lot bang for your buck.

1. Target’s Buy 2 Get 1 Free on All Vita Games
Starting today, Target all around the United States will be having a Buy 2 Get 1 Free promo for every Vita game. With so many titles to select, this is a deal you wouldn’t want to miss. Who wouldn’t want to pick up Bend Studio’s Uncharted Golden Abyss, Capcom’s Ultimate Marvel Vs Capcom 3, and Hot Shots Golf: World Tour Invitational for less than $100? However, don’t forget your cheapest game will be the free one.

2. Amazon’s Buy 2 Get 1 Free on Select Vita Games
Right after Target’s deal was leaked last week, Amazon immediately price/deal matched their promotion with their own Buy 2 Get 1 Free. Just like the Target promotion, you can check a library of games they’re selling such as Rayman Origins, Lumines: Electronic Symphony and Michael Jackson the Experience HD.

3. Target’s Buy a Wi-Fi PlayStation Vita, Get 4GB Memory Card
Just for this week, Target is offering everyone a chance to get a Vita with a free memory card. With the handheld’s high price, it’s nice of Target to bundle the hadware with a free 4GB memory card. For only $249.99, you’re good to go.

4. Amazon’s Buy a Wi-Fi PlayStation Vita, Get 4GB Memory Card
Here we go again folks! Similar to Target’s promotion on the PlayStation Vita, they’re offering a free 4GB memory card for those who buys the Wi-Fi PlayStation Vita.

NOTE: Don’t forget that you can price match these deals at your local Best Buy but it all depends on the manager or which sales clerk you talk to. Good luck and check out our coverage of the PlayStation Vita where we reviewed all of the games you care about!
