As soon as the player starts skimming through the roster of Marvel Vs Capcom 3, only thirty two characters are unlocked, having six of them completely hidden and waiting to be uncovered.
Acquiring six hidden characters are fairly easy but it takes time. Two of the six hidden characters can be acquired via the DLC that came with the Special Edition package of Marvel Vs. Capcom 3.
Below are the list of characters that players are able to get:
Unlocking AKUMA
Acquire 2,000 Player Points (PP).
To get PPs, simply play the arcade mode and finish through it. Other ways to acquire PP is by playing through the Missions, participating online matches, and more. The easiest way in acquiring PP is through playing through the arcade mode via Easy difficulty.
Unlocking SENTINEL
Acquire 4,000 Player Points (PP)
Unlocking HSEIN-KO
Acquire 6,000 Player Points
Unlocking TASKMASTER
Acquire 8,000 Player Points
Unlocking Jill Valentine
Can be downloaded via the DLC. (Comes with the Special Edition)
