Fight Night Round 4 Online Servers Are Going Offline

Fight Night Round 4 Online Servers Are Going Offline

Fight Night Round 4 may have come out back in 2009, but it had a long online lifespan. Well now it’s about to end as EA Sports will be shutting down the game’s online servers.

Fight Night Round 4 was released for the PS3 and Xbox 360 back in 2009 and people were still able to play the game online. However, once March 2020 comes the online modes will be inaccessible.

An EA community manager announced the game’s shutdown of online servers on the official website. You can read the full announcement down below.

Hello Fight Night Round 4 Fans,

After eleven years of an incredible online community, the daily active playerbase in Fight Night Round 4 has reached a very low number and we can no longer ensure a quality online experience. As of March 9, 2020, the Fight Night Round 4 servers will be retired. After this date, you’ll still be able to play all offline modes on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.

For those of you that want to keep fighting online with your friends or against a competitive, global community, Fight Night Champion, our premier experience for all boxing fans, is now in the EA Access Vault on Xbox One; meaning you can play the latest-and-greatest Fight Night title – as well as over 100 other incredible games – for as little as $5 per month or $30 per year. Fight Night Champion is our best Fight Night to date, so we know you’ll have a great time and we hope you’ll jump in and check it out.

Thanks for your continued support,

EA SPORTS Fight Night Dev Team

As announced above, Fight Night Champion is EA Sports’ latest boxing offering so you can still play that game online. Too bad a new boxing game hasn’t been made as the team have been working on UFC games instead.
