Big Ant Studios along with Tennis Australia have released a new developer diary video for the upcoming AO Tennis 2 video game.
AO Tennis 2 is a sequel to AO Tennis which came out back in January 2018 in Australia and New Zealand. The game was then repackaged to AO International Tennis for overseas customers.
In this new developer diary for the sequel, we see big improvements have been made to the overall look of the game.
In the sequel, Big Ant Studios got to render the full Melbourne Park tennis courts and even the press room too. It looks like you can actually visit every type of court that the park has to offer.
If you look at the video, the stadiums are more accurately portrayed giving players a look at what the real park looks like.
Licensed players will also wear authentic sports gear such as Nike and more. They also tried to get new young and classic players to this sequel as well.
The career mode is also better giving you more of a story to your journey to become a Grand Slam winner. The animation and gameplay mechanics have been overhauled to make it realistic as possible.
AO Tennis will be released on January 9th, 2020 for both consoles and PC. Check out the new video posted down below!
