2K Games and developer Gearbox Software announced today details for their upcoming first free seasonal event for Borderlands 3, titled Bloody Harvest.
Bloody Harvest is the first free seasonal event for Borderlands 3 that will run from October 24 through December 5. During the event, players will be able to experience fresh new content including Haunted enemy types, the Terror combat mechanic, a unique Legendary weapon, and a new boss fight against the fearsome Captain haunt. If you somehow manage to survive the creepy challenges of Bloody Harvest, you can earn neat rewards such as cosmetic items, including Vault Hunter skins, a weapon trinket and more.
For gamers who are looking for more content, the game’s first DLC episode is expected to drop by the end of the year. Unfortunately, there’s no word yet as to what the DLC will all be about but we should hear more about it in the coming weeks.
With the start of the upcoming Bloody Harvest by the end of the week, it means that the recently Borderlands anniversary collection is coming to an end. For the past five weeks, the Borderlands franchise has been treated as a weekly event every week.
Borderlands 3 is available now for PS4, Xbox One, and PC, with a Stadia version coming very soon.
