With Sony’s State of Play and Microsoft’s Inside Xbox Live taking place tomorrow, it seems like WB Games Montréal is teasing some kind of Batman announcement.
This started yesterday with this mysterious tweet yesterday related to Batman and mysterious logos appearing. Some have already pointed at them being related to the Court of Owls, a newer but quite interesting group in the Batman universe.
Today another tweet makes the cryptic symbols a lot more obvious, with the Knight obviously referring to Batman. There are a couple interesting theories related to these symbols. Some think it’s a variety of groups, with the last one relating to Ra’s al Ghul, another one mentioned the logos seem to be evolving and a few think that we might see a variety of groups converging on the Dark Knight.
Out of all of these things, it seems like the game will be related to the mysterious Court. Scott Snyder, who co-creator the Court of Owls, briefly tweeted a message telling people to beware the court, before ultimately deleting the tweet.
While there is a lot to say and see, at least it seems like we will have a brief wait. With one insider saying it will be revealed tomorrow during Sony’s State of Play, though it isn’t the first or even third time something like this was suggested, making the show even more exciting. But, for now, we will wait to see where this road takes us.
