RAD – Full Gameplay Run

RAD – Full Gameplay Run

One of the challenges to a game like RAD is knowing the ins and outs of the mechanics. Sometimes there is a secret room, other times there are chests you should and should not open and it makes for a learning curve. The most important thing really isn’t what you should and should not do, as much as overcoming the core challenges to finish the journey.

Getting past the first area or certain enemies can be tricky, so we uploaded a full run to give anyone looking for more information a chance to see it first hand. Be warned, it does include the final boss and ending, so don’t watch it all if you don’t want to but it’s filled with tips and tricks that you might not realize on your first play through.

Some of these include, but are not limited to, finding secrets, obtaining health items, maximizing health drops, making the most of mutations, how to defeat multiple enemies at once, finishing quests and more. The video also shows how to unlock a couple different trophies, along with the benefit of storing your tapes. Not only does it create a reserve for future runs, higher ranks grant access to the credit card functionality, meaning you don’t need tapes on you to buy items, assuming you’re okay with paying a bit more for them.

Outside of that, I strongly suggest paying close attention to how you engage enemies with melee weapons. Arguably the hardest skill is mastering melee, as most enemies have close range attacks. They’re designed to have openings, making it more of a cat and mouse game but not the most enjoyable in the long run. This can also be used with our melee only run guide, which illustrates some of the tricks needed to win. Also, if you don’t mind exploiting RAD‘s mechanics, this guide will help you a lot.
